Dinner Meal Serving - Men's Campus

Volunteers serve dinner at the Men's Campus located at 435 University Ave. East, St. Paul, MN.

A serving shift consists of 30 minutes of preperation (taking chairs off tables, organizing desserts, determining serving roles, etc.), 1 hour of serving food, and 30 minutes of clean up (wiping down surfaces, putting chairs on tables, sweeping, mopping, etc.). There is no cooking involved for this shift.

You can park anywhere in our lot, even in spots designated for staff, except the spots reserved for UGMTC vehicles. Enter through the “Food Services” entrance, left of the patio by the dumpsters. When you arrive at the kitchen, please put your belongings in the storage lockers. Check-in at the computer and wait for instructions from the kitchen staff.

Food Service volunteers must wear:

  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Loose fitting clothing that covers the chest, shoulders, underarms, torso, and knees
  • Hairnets (provided by UGMTC) or hat (brought by the volunteer)
  • Gloves and aprons (provided by UGMTC)
  • Clothing must not portray themes related to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, sex or violence
