COVID-19 UGMTC Volunteer Safety Guidelines

*updated on Thursday, August 5th, 2021

As of August 5th, 2021 we have updated our COVID-19 safety measures for volunteers at Union Gospel Mission Twin CitiesWe will continue to monitor the increase in positivity rates within our community and follow CDC and Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines. We are now requiring masks to be worn by all volunteers serving indoors and outdoors at any of our locations.  Our leadership will continue to monitor the positivity rates locally and will make any other changes as necessary.  We will do our best to communicate these changes to our volunteers and update the safety guidelines. As a reminder, volunteers are required to adhere to the following:

  • I have not been exposed or come into close contact with a person having a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19
  • I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 7 days
  • I am free of any COVID-19 symptoms (such as loss of taste or smell, coughing, fever, etc.)
  • I agree to notify UGMTC staff immediately if there are any changes to the above safety requirements
  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from volunteering, we can always reschedule for another volunteer day and time
