Medical Screening

The Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities is looking for volunteers with any type of medical background to help with our medical screening (practicing, retired or a student in a medical program) at our Men's Campus, 435 University Ave. East, St. Paul, MN. Due to COVID-19, we will be screening everybody entering into our facilities and quarantining as needed. Two tables with plexiglass barriers will be set up outside the Bethel Hotel entrance. This opportunity is outdoors, please dress accordingly. If you have protective gear, masks, etc. PLEASE bring them with you. We do have some PPE on hand, but our supply is limited. Here's what our medical volunteers will help with: Asking 4 simple overall health questions Looking for any symptoms of COVID-19 Approved individuals will get a wristband to enter our facilities Individuals who are showing symptoms will be directed to our on-site quarantine rooms to have a closer medical exam by a doctor or nurse practitioner We are looking to have volunteers help with this opportunity, every day ofthe week. There will be 2.5 hour shifts from 7:30AM until 6:30PM each of those days. When our medical screening volunteers arrive, they will check-in with our Bethel Hotel desk staff to get materials and supplies before starting. Please know that there might be some downtime during your shift. Feel free to do work or catch up on emails if time allows. Please consider helping us out!
